PREPARATION

  1. Place the sausages in the refrigerator and allow them to defrost for 12 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 180°C (about 350°F).
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a clean surface. Cut it into strips approximately 1 cm wide.
  4. Wrap the puff pastry strips evenly around each sausage.
  5. Arrange the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  6. Drizzle small dots of mayonnaise on each sausage to create “eyeballs,” and place a whole black peppercorn in the centre of each dot as the pupil.
