PREPARATION

  1. Grease and heat a grill to medium-high.  
  2. Grill the burgers, flipping occasionally, for 10 minutes.
    For help, refer to the package instructions. 
  3. Split the buns, spread both sides with mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise or any combination thereof.  
  4. Layer the bottom of a bun with sliced vegetables, then a burger and cap with the bun top.

Ingredients

4 hamburger buns

2 tbsps. (28 ml) neutral oil

1 cup (120 g) red onion, sliced

2 dill pickles (120 g), sliced

4 lettuce leaves (60 g)

2 medium size (160 g) tomatoes, sliced

1 tbsp. (15 g) mustard

1 ½ tbsps. (23 g) mayonnaise*

1 ½ tbsps. (23 g) ketchup

½ tsp. (1 g) coarsely grounded black pepper

*To make this recipe vegan use a plant-based mayonnaise substitute.
