About the role:

We are seeking a Customer Bookkeeper to join our global team, manage customer accounts, including approving new accounts, issuing invoices, and ensuring timely collections. You'll handle reconciliations, maintain precise financial records, and support monthly closings and audits. This role calls for a proactive, adaptable professional with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Your challenge

  • Approve and activate new customer accounts, ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately issue invoices and manage the collections process to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct customer and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Record daily financial transactions with precision and ensure timely posting to maintain up-to-date records.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities, maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
  • Support the monthly closing process and assist in annual audit preparations.

What you'll need

  • Successfully completed an MBO+ level education in financial administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong focus on customer account management.
  • Experience in working with global companies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Fluent in Dutch – a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong customer and supplier service orientation
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
  • Familiarity with SAP system – a plus.

 Reporting to – Subsidiaries Controller
